Question / Help Obs NDI issues.

HI guys

Okay so first things first i had no issues for about 4 days using the same setup im using now.

I have my gaming pc setup with obs and all the capture windows my webcam, game capture ect.

I then have my laptop connected to the network. OBS open on it and down scaling from 1080 to 720 and capping frames at 30. Bitrate was set to 2500 very fast preset main and film.

This worked perfect for 4 days i didn't have any frames drop on laptop and i didn't have any issues with stream.

Then i believe it was after the latest update i started to get around 5 or so seconds of lag every 5 - 10 minutes. My audio will still work fine so on stream you can hear me talking normally but my webcam / game will lagg behind before catching back up to where it's supposed to be.

So i tried going through all the way from ultra fast down to the bottom on my laptop and this changed nothing, i tried to change bit rate to crazy numbers and down and this didn't fix it. I tried with and without webcam, with and without game capture and tried with just a browser open under window capture. Same thing would happen.

When the lag is happening my laptop isn't capping CPU or showing any lost frames, my gaming pc isn't capping CPU and im not dropping any frames in game and the obs on my gaming pc shows no frames lost.

I'm at a little bit of a loss what to try next, i understand that NDI requires gigabit connection? And my laptop has this but i am using bog standard ethernet cables, so my only other thought is that it's struggling to either pull the stream from my gaming pc or struggling to send it out?

Would getting a cat5e (i think it's called) gigabit cable possibly help this issue?

**edit** sorry forgot to add. Very randomly my stream will go black for about 1 - 2 seconds. Just a full black screen and then come back on.

If you need anymore info please let me know

Internet is 35 down and 10 up

Thanks for any help

Post log files from both PCs. Gigabit > 100Mb for sure, especially at the bitrate NDI users usually push.
