Hello I am having some issues with audio delay when even as much as opening a minimally demanding game like Terraria. So I'm not even streaming or recording just have OBS and maybe my Opera gx browser (with limiting settings to minimize cpu/gpu usage), everything is normal mic is in sync with my camera when audio monitoring. However, as soon as I open a game my mic starts to lag like crazy on OBS. I'm not joking here the delay is like 30 seconds at its worst. It was working stunningly yesterday (no delay). Turned off my pc, woke up and mic delay. I was testing a stream on my alt in the exact conditions as yesterday same game, overlay, and mic the only difference is the lag.
  • I tried turning off Xbox game bar recording and NVidia GeForce experience.
  • Reinstalling OBS
  • Installing Stream Labs OBS (same issue)
  • Changing the audio bitrate
My PC specs:
Dell G7 7700
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 (integrated) - 6 GB of VRAM
10th Generation Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.6 GHz
16 GB of RAM
520 GB SSD

OBS Version 27.2.4
- running NVENC as an encoder
- Stream at 720p 30fps (I downscale from 1080p)
- So like 5000 bitrate and an audio bitrate of 128 View attachment 85130
Streaming settings^^

I have noticed a coupe of weird things as well with OBS which might help with something. The CPU usage increased, before was at 4% - 15% now im at 19% - 25%. When I'm running a game and I monitor the audio it sounds blocky and choppy sometimes. And I did update my Nvidia driver yesterday which might be what is causing it. Its the only change I've made to my PC.
