OBS Memory Leak with Chroma Key filter? Or is it just that bulky of a process...

So i've been running OBS the last couple streams now with this new upgrade using a chroma key filter for our greenscreen, but I've got a memory monitor in my main menu bar and it's just chewing through memory, it slowly counts down. When i remove the chroma key the memory starts going up. Is it just that intense of a process? I usually run touchdesigner at the same time as OBS and i never have memory issues there even with intense processing… anyone else notice this?

Interesting, sounds like a memory leak. I've been getting this for a while now. I"m going to spend the next week or two troubleshooting it systematically to see EXACTLY what is causing memory leaks like this. My OBS RAM usage will go from 2GB up to 100GB after about 30-40 minutes of just being open. Definitely not normal!

I'll check into whether it is any of my luma keys or other filters, or if it is an actual source type that is causing it, and report back to the forum. Definitely need to get to the bottom of this!

Interesting. I've had memory leak issues on and off for a few months now and I thought it was my streamlabs alerts and browser sources, but maybe it's the chroma key....

Let's all look into it and report back! We can hopefully at least shine a light on the source of the problem and get started on solving it!

Same observation here. OBS runs 24/7 to feed a DATV repeater, and eventually I will have to restart it to prevent a crash due to chewed up memory. I also use chroma filters...
