Hi, I've been using OBS for years but suddenly a weird problem emerged.. It was happening before and also the last 26.1 update.
The behaviour doesn't depend on whether I am recording, streaming or just running the program and not doing anything.
Immediately after I launch OBS my first CPU core skyrockets to 100% load - other ones are unaffected and my whole system starts to behave very weird. Any click has a noticable delay before any action happens, i.e. context menu after right click appears after a second or two, moving windows around is laggy and after I release it somewhere I see double cursor appearance and I see the "laggy" cursor moving the window while my "real" cursor is moving somewhere else.. I am not getting any error messages..
This started happening out of nowhere - no HW, SW change, no system nor driver updates.. Last week I recorded a 4K screen capture + 1 camlink input for 1 hour and everything went fine..
Stuff I checked - using NVENC, checking CPU core allocation to the process, system reboot, OBS reboot, OBS reinstall but nothing helped.
Anybody has any idea?
PC spec
9900k, 1080ti, 64gig ram, OBS running from nvme ssd
I have other similar spec PC only the CPU is 7900X, everything else is the same and on that one everything works as it should. I am hopeless :/
