Question / Help OBS makes my computer lag even when not recording/streaming

Hello there,

As soon as I open OBS I notice a drop in performance and a slight stuttering that occurs.

My mouse is less precise and my game (Starcraft II) is noticeable choppy, even while not recording or streaming.

I've tried disabling the stream preview but that doesn't seem to help.

As soon as I close OBS, the issue goes away.

Specs:

iMac (21.5-inch, Mid 2011)
2.5 GHz Intel Core i5
12 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512 MB

Still running Yosemite.

Would appreciate any insight on this issue!

Where's the log file?

I was able to fix the issue by completely uninstalling OBS and starting over. Still not sure what caused it.
