Question / Help OBS low preview fps when using studio mode

So as the title suggests, I'm getting very low (8) fps when i have studio mode toggled on, as soon as i toggle it off, it works like a charm, both recording and live-streaming work seamlessly. But the second i turn on studio mode, the shit hits the fan and the fps drops lower than my will to live. Is anyone else having this problem, or is there a fix for this:

Thing's I've already tried -

- Running 32 bit & 64 bit
- Running as admin
- Reinstalling OBS
- Reinstalling Nvidia Drivers
- Reinstalling pretty much any other driver I can think of

Note - When running it in compatibility mode Windows 7 and as admin (unsure if both do anything or just one is doing it) the fps manages to stay at a somewhat respectable 30.97

Are you monitor capturing or game capturing? I had the same prob I always used Monitor capture but you should use game capture hope it helps, if not I wish you the best in finding the solution man

Yeah, I've always used game capture. This happened just when i reinstalled obs after reinstalling windows quite some time ago, never had internet, so i think i'm going to try installing an older version, see if it works, then update it from the program
