Question / Help OBS League of Legends Stream - iMac FPS Drop In-Game

Hi, I was wondering if anybody could help me out, or if anyone has or had the same issue as me. Recently really got into streaming League of Legends on Twitch via OBS. Happened to figure everything out pretty quickly but I just have one issue.

In-game my FPS drops to about the 30 to 40 range. Normally it's about 60 if not higher. My game quality is kind of choppy/laggy too because of the stream. I'm running off of an iMac. Any tips or settings I should be using to avoid this or fix the problem? I would love to continue to stream! I mean... it's not so bad that I can't play LoL it's just bothersome. I've seen other players resolve the issue but their OS is a Windows, haven't seen much support for iMac yet, unless I'm not looking in the right area.

Yea, could you include a new log file? Preferably a full log file.

Using OBS I see this massive frames per second drop in every game I play and stream, so it is not an issue on your machine, Nina. Still we all love OBS of course and we can only try to help the developer to make it better all the time.

Post a link to your logfile from the help menu like this:

Lastly, check your audio device (not sure how to do this on a mac) and see if your audio device is set to 48kHz. if so, change your audio device in OBS to match it

Hi dping,

Thanks for your input! Sorry about that, I thought I posted the full log because I just copy and pasted it from the link I got from OBS after uploading the current file I had. I'll try that again when I get home later today.

Yeah, all we need is the link to github where the log is at. Make sure you didn't miss what I said at the bottom of my last post:

You should get your "Last" log file rather than your current one, since the current one is often incomplete since you're in the middle of using OBS.
