Question / Help OBS Launches, But does not show any signs of running

So I tried to launch OBS via Mac, the white dot indicating the program is open and in use does not show. The icon will bounce showing it is launching, then stops. I tried even delete it and am halted by a warning stating that OBS is currently running, yet there's no window or indication it's even open at all.

I'm not using Catalina yet, and it was working just fine. The main window for OBS shows for just a split second then "minimizes" but shows no indication it even booted nor can I force quit the program. It's as though I never launched it. But won't attempt to launch again as it its already apparently "open"

Click the OBS icon in your Mac's menubar. I'm guessing OBS is minimizing itself on launch.

When the main window appears, go to Settings > General

Uncheck any of these that are checked:

"Minimize to system tray when started"
"Always minimize to system tray instead of task bar"

Exit OBS and relaunch it.

That's the thing, it doesn't appear, it flashes then the icon never showed it launched OR crashed... I've never seen any application behave like this.

Menubar icon, not dock. Top of the screen. The behavior you describe is exactly what OBS does with these two features enabled. The Dock icon bounces once, the main screen flashes and then disappears, and a small black and white icon appears in your menubar at the top of the screen, probably towards the middle as it will be the most recently added icon in the menubar, with empty space to its left.

Click that and the main window should appear.
