Bug Report OBS LATEST BUILD 22.0 AUG 20TH MAJOR ISSUES

Hi so was on vacation so no streaming on PC from Aug 18th-Aug 22nd. got home yesterday to stream Aug 23rd but did the update before I streamed and noticed my PC and OBS would lag hard which caused my stream to stutter and buffer via youtube. I assumed youtube was having a bad day or my PC needed an upgrade lawl but I know the 2nd wasn't the case. Yes I still use a GTX980 with an asus ranger 7 motherboard with intel i7 4790k which is plenty with my internet upload and download as well. I have never experienced a problem with 9000kbps running 1080p60fps streams playing Warcraft, Overwatch, etc until yesterday.

Not sure what else to tell you guys except I uninstalled OBS and reinstalled it as the prior version and now my streams are crystal perfect again.

Anyone else have similar problems with new update just thought I would post sorry I am not a huge help but someone else might have same problems and can report using this thread to OBS peeps in regards to updates since that latest one Aug 20th ruined it for me.

Hope this is what you're looking for :D I don't understand them but yea I have no problem with the older version OBS 21, OBS 22 that got released 4 days ago was so bad first time I tried using it, would lag my whole PC when I open it, not by much but yea couldn't handle streaming that's for sure.

Basically, I have been using OBS for years with no issue.
I use a GTX980 with an asus ranger 7 motherboard with intel i7 4790k which is plenty with my internet upload and download as well being 400+ download 20+ upload (I know when streaming upload is key and 20+ has never failed me.)

I run settings basically 9000kbps 1080p 60fps x264 utilizing direct3d 11. Probably found in my logs but those have always been my settings. Was on vacation but I have streamed every single night so far in 2018 whether it be on my PC or mobile. Never have had an issue these past few years with these settings up until this update which I figured out it wad the update since I reverted back to the previous OBS and everything is back to crystal clear perfection. I also record my streams in mp4 format while streaming using OBS.

What happened when I started using the new updated OBS last night was I would start as I normally do and noticed buffering right away, youtube said to lower from 9k to 4500 did that no fix, OBS says to up the processing and I have an encoding overload, did that no fix, stream would lag a bit stutter, etc which never happens to me ever lol. So I cancelled my stream everyone understood and I figured it out being the latest OBS update. I assumed youtube being problem first but not many others were experiencing issues, then I assumed it was my PC but went to play games without using OBS and saw a huge difference in quality when OBS wasn't running, going from 30ish fps ingame back to my normal 90-100 fps hover. Which is what made me say it was the OBS update and now I am back to previous update with no problems.

Not sure how you've ever been able to encode at 1080p60 on x264 at veryfast with a 4790. Even with just a simple capture, my 4790k has never been able to handle it even at 4.4ghz -- most it could do was 900p60. This was with 21.1.2, as well as previous versions pre-meltdown. NVENC was always necessary to hit 1080p60.

I get no problems 1080p60fps I can do 4k with no problems haha. I just don't like to do 4k due to not everyone can even watch streams and such at 4k so I went to the best alternative which is 1080p 60fps and streams are great.

Not sure what the rest of your PC components are but I never have any problems.
