Hello,
My wife has been streaming video games on Twitch for a while now. Her Windows 10 computer was nearly a decade old and on its last leg, so we finally upgraded to a new PC.
The new computer hardware is exponentially better in every way, but when she opens any scene with sources like a webcam or display capture, the GPU usage spikes through the roof and nearly freezes out the computer.
This computer has an Nvidia 5070 TI and without OBS running we can run games like Baldur's Gate 3 or Dragon Age inquisition at max settings without issue, but with OBS running we can't even get the games to fully launch because the GPU is so over-taxed.
I've gone through the troubleshooting guides, (and way too many Youtube videos on the subject,) but I am just not finding a solution.
I took this log where I launched OBS with just an animate "Be right back" scene and halfway through switched to a scene with webcam input to show it freezing up. I didn't even get to streaming or recording.
Any assistance would be most appreciated. Thanks!
