OBS lags in stream when its minimised?

I was streaming XPLANE11 on my twitch channel and i realised that when i have my obs tabbed minimised, my stream video lagged by alot! But not the audio of course. The audio was very on point but the video was very delayed as in like 1frame per 30 seconds... But when i have my obs tab opened, the stream's fps is the same as the one i got in game, which was about 45fps and it was streaming the same fps i can see in game. But ofcourse, i wont be able to play with my obs tab opened because if i do so, OBS tab will be overlapped with my game and the stream video will start lagging again... is there any way to fix this? Thanks!

Not sure, but that sounds like Windows OS de-prioritizing a minimized application
And your comment about lagging when leaving OBS app open might imply that PC is under-powered or OS and/or OBS settings won't work with PC hardware resource availability (ie asking to much of PC... real-time video encoding is really demanding).

Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...

OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...
