I'm pullng my hair out! I can see many people using OBS with no problems, and there is no reason why I shouldn't be able to use it as well...but....
I have uninstalled and reinstalled OBS Studio about 3 times now. I have run a complete scan and defrag on my computer. I have more than enough memory, space and power to use OBS. I'm connected directly to my internet service (high speed) and not using up wifi....Here is my problem.
First: When I open OBS it takes bout 30 seconds to a full minute to actually open (opens slowly)
Second: My mouse lags and has a two second delay, making it difficult to click on the correct place to manage settings
Third: IF I actually manage to get the mouse to work, the video and audio lag so bad it is unintelligable
Last: OBS eventually just becomes unresonposive (program not responding). Closing it through my task manager is even difficult.
I'm sure there is some simple computer setting I am missing that would help me be able to run OBS, but I have no idea what or where that might be.
Any help would be appreciated.
Operating with Windows 10
AMD quad core processor 1.50 GHZ
4 GB DDR3L Memory
1000 GB HDD
more than 50% memory available
CPU usage instantly jumps about 65% the instant I even get the program open.
Thanks
