Ok guys.
My problem is that, when i am doing a livestream and my GPU load reaches 100% my fps in obs will drop from 60 to anywere between 35 and 15 fps. I have read a lot of forum posts about this and tried a lo off setting and fixes. But now i know that this problem only appears when my GPU load is 100%. Do any of you guys know if there is a way to let games use like 90% of the gpu? or any other fix for this?
Dropping down the power limit in MSI Afterburner can't do the trick because if you drop it in there the games will still use all the power from the GPU that it can..

My system specs are:
I7 - 7700K
Gtx 1060 6GB
16 gb 3000mhz ddr4

And my internet connection is 300/300.

Just ask if you need any information.

This is expected. OBS requires GPU resources to render/composite your scene, regardless of what encoder you have set.

You can keep GPU usage down by capping your FPS at something reasonable. 300 is not reasonable. Your monitor's refresh rate, is.

I understand that sir!

My problem is that my rig is not good enough to keep constant 60 fps in games like pubg and rust. So therefore i would like to find a way to let games use like 90% of my gpu power, i just don't know if you can even do this in anyway..

I was having a hell of a time with PUBG and streaming and have a similar power machine, which can turn out 1080p/60 of many other games without issue. Last night I had a eureka moment with PUBG. Firstly the game is far from optimized, so don't expect nice streams like the top streamers who are using two machines for their streams. Next use NVENC for the encoder at 3500-5000 bitrate whatever you want. Default for all other encoder settings.

Now the key to getting a somewhat smooth stream, use Screen Capture not Game Capture. For whatever reason PUBG no matter the streaming software just doesn't play well with game capture.
