So I have been having some pretty flawless performance with OBS recently since I upgraded my rig to a 3700X and a 5700XT. I was using the software encoder last night when about 3/4 of the way through the stream my webcam started to stutter along with my webcam. I noticed it when I was just reviewing the livestream, but then realized that all of OBS was lagging when I was in fullscreen mode.
If I tabbed out, everything would go buttery smooth again, but when I went fullscreen in game it went right back to being choppy, even the audio level bars showed that they were skipping and being weird.
I just played my game in windowed mode and it worked perfectly fine, but curious as to why it would do this only when it's in fullscreen?
I ran OBS as administrator and set the priority to 'above normal' and 'high' with no change.
