Hi there,
I have a computer running OBS Studio (most recent version) and I am testing this running a standard game capture with Minecraft. Minecraft runs at about 500 frames, however the second OBS Studio is open it drops to about 20 FPS. I am running windows 7 at the moment and have no intentions to upgrade to windows 10 at this time. I am running a quad monitor setup and have unplugged all but one monitor to see if the issue was a funky refresh rate mismatch. I have maximized the GPU settings with the NVIDIA control panel for Minecraft as well as obs64.exe. This issue occurs with any game I use. CPU is never maxed never above 25%, GPU never goes above 11% (I am running two cards in SLI config, never taxes one card heavier than the other).
PC SPECS
GTX 970 SSC (1)
GTX 970 SSC (2)
i7 3700 3.4 ghz
32GB RAM
LOGS:
obs log streaming minecraft with JUST a game capture, (please let me know if something is wrong with this log unfamiliar with obs logs)
https://pastebin.com/9Lc1y34T
GPUz LOG
Things I have tried
- I have tried disabling the preview window the lag still occurs.
- I have tried toggling vsync off within nvidia
- I have tried turning down settings for OBS
- Tried using Window Capture as apposed to game capture
- unplugging monitors
- Turned down Minecraft Game settings, capped FPS lock 30.
- Obs Classic lags in game capture as well.
Help is much appreciated!!
