Hi, I wanted to be able to stream/record Minecraft servers without any lag or quality compromisations. I've got a 23 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload speed a latency of 20ms and, I'm on windows 10 with a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 370, 8 GB of memory, and 238 GBs of disk space.
I'm currently using the x264 encoder, a rescale of 1280x720 and 30fps, a bitrate of 1600 (CBR rate control,) and a profile of main and a CPU usage preset at superfast. I'm recording on mp4 and set the CRF to 20. Also, my process priority for OBS is on high.
Despite this, I'm still getting occasional lag and sometimes the quality isn't the best. It used to be better and smoother. What can I do to reduce lag and optimize my settings?
