Question / Help OBS Lag and Audio Issues

Hi there,

I'm new to streaming and trying to stream on my Mac laptop with OBS and my Elgato Game Capture HD but am running into issues. On my Elgato, the game capture is smooth. However, when I tell OBS to capture the Elgato the frame rate stutters or becomes slideshow quality, especially when things are going fast on screen. The audio is misaligning and sometimes becoming a scratchy mess of sound or looping in on itself. I've uploaded the following album to imgur for you to look at all my settings and specs. Also, I've saved my test streams on my Twitch Channel so you can see the problem. Please tell me what I can do to make my stream function properly.

Okay,let me tell you about the pictures and solutions(in order).

Main Mac Specs:NVIDIA Geforce?!!Wow,totally amazing.

Upload speed:Depends on your router,internet etc.

Elgato Game Capture:Because it's a capture card software....so it's better than OBS

OBS:I'll tell you what,DO NOT USE WINDOW CAPTURE.It's only good for Windows.Use Game Capture(Syphon) or use the 'Video Capture Device' source.

Stream:Your choice.

Output:Recording doesn't matter as you are streaming.You want to stream at 720p on Twitch?Put video bitrate from 1800-2500 and audio to 128(Nice choice.)Also try switching the CPU usage preset to medium/fast/faster.

Audio:Try using 44.1 kHz in the sample rate.

Video:Downscale filter to Bicubic.(Bilinear will reduce quality to speed up CPU)

Advanced:Same,no idea.
