Trying to stream Apex Legends or Destiny 2 I lose drastic FPS and clipping in game and on OBS.

Network : 100mbps down
20mbps up

GPU : gtx 1070 8gb MSI OC
CPU : Ryzen 7 1700x
RAM : 32gb
HDD : RAID 0 dual Seagate
CAM : Logitech c922
Windows 10 x64 up-to-date
All drivers up to date.

Game mode turned off in windows.
Ran wizard while my game was up so obs can determine the appropriate bitrate, etc.
Settings turned low in Apex program.

Streaming 720p.

Any help would be absolutely amazing. My stream was just starting to attract viewers when suddenly, nope..... lol I can't play with clipping every 5 mins. Almost like a laggy cod game. Freeze.. Start... freeze... start.

17:27:17.613: Windows Version: 10.0 Build 17134 (revision: 590; 64-bit)

Windows is out of date and game mode is on. Read the link at the bottom of this post for instructions on how to resolve this.

17:27:20.154: - scene 'Scene 2':
17:27:20.154: - source: 'wow' (game_capture)
17:27:20.154: - source: 'dd2' (game_capture)

Multiple game captures in a single scene is not recommended. Use a single capture and reconfigure on a per-game basis, or put separately configured captures in separate scenes or scene collections.

Your GPU is overloaded.

Your network connection is also overloaded. Streaming on wireless is also not recommended.

Thank you for your response. I will update windows.

I checked in my regedit for the gamebar and I don't have string values for the Game mode. I did turn off full screen optimization for the game in properties though.

Windows settings, game bar is off.

I have the Ryzen 7 1700x Eight-Core 3.4Ghz - Do you think it would be better to force OBS to use my CPU instead of GPU for encoding?

I have hardware performance monitor on my 2nd monitor when gaming and it's not showing my network or GPU being overloaded. Do you think there is a software issue causing OBS to only use a specific amount for encoding?

Game Bar is distinct from, and not as important as, Game Mode.

Your log shows rendering lag, not encoding lag. Switching to the CPU encoder won't affect that, as the NVENC capability on Nvidia cards is a separate chip.

The only thing I am aware of that prevents OBS from using free GPU resources is Game Mode.
