Question / Help OBS Keeps Freezing my computer till i have to Manually shut off

hey guys. Im having issues on OBS Studio. ive only had OBS Studio for about 3 days now? but i used OBS Classic before and had no issues whatsoever. but the issue now with OBS Studio is that whenever i stream my computer decides to just freeze my whole computer causing me to hold down the power button. i stream from my PS4 through my Elgato HD60. im just wondering if anyone has ran into the same issue as me its just a piss off that i cant stream for more than an hour without this happening. Hi @Erick Dahlgren

Can you post a log after running the stream as the current one just shows the obs app startup not the steam starting and therefore doesn't contain any stream info or crash info. If you aren't able to get this log / information can you pass on what your streaming configuration is via a screenshot or text.

could it be possible that my RAM isnt good enough? because it says i have a memory leak

Hi,

just checking the log it ends at

"11:18:26 AM.146: ==== Streaming Start ==============================================="

did OBS just crash as soon as you clicked the steam button? if not it should contain the stream settings and then an end line.

Or the log might not have fully copied over to github

I streamed for about half an hour and then i did the log file as i was streaming then it crashed about 20 mins later. here is my latest log file.

it just says memory leaks at the bottom and i was also using Task Manager to look at my cpu and memory and neither of them got to full. so i have no idea what is going on. its really frustrating! do i need a new Processor i currently have the AMD Phentom II Hexcore 1055T 2.8 Ghz
