For the past few months, I've been having issues with OBS for recording. I do reaction videos for YouTube and I only do recording. Every time I record, it gets choppy, lags, and delays all the time including audio. I'm having a hard time controlling my mouse cause it keeps freezing, and the video that I watch is choppy and delayed too. I've tried everything (looking for answers, watching videos, searching, and asking people) and OBS is still screwing up. I think it's because I have a Lenovo laptop (at least 5 years old) and 2 monitors and that I need a desktop and a PC. I also do other work like school, filmmaking, and documents which I'm thinking is another reason why OBS is acting weird because of too much storage and stuff. I can't figure out if I have the right equipment or tools that could fix it. Any ideas? Any recommendations? Any specific brand that I should have?
