I can't figure out why my stream keeps disconnecting.
My upload speed and download speed while I was streaming is
9.86mbps upload and 15.95mbps Download<-wireless
If I am using my ps4 even with it connected the lag is extreme and with a internet cord connected.
I have a inspiron 17R with a intel core I5
My current settings are

and my current video settings are

My twitch stream was more unstable than anything the highest bitrate it went up to was 2337
and down to 1880. Any advice would be helpful cause I am a noob.

You need to help troubleshooting by sharing a log file from a session where you have tried streaming.

But I can say right away that most likely your i5-4200U will not be able to handle a medium encoder preset. Try going back to veryfast.

Since your other settings are really on the lowest end possible (it's going to look like crap) the other issues are likely network related. Try running TwitchTest to measure your connection quality to different twitch ingest servers.

Report back when you have a log from OBS and a network test result :)

In your test stream you had it set to 1280x720 10 fps 2000 kbps with a medium preset, and this was the summary:
Total encoded frames: 4106
Total drawn frames: 4989
Number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 4577 (111.5%)
Number of dropped frames due to insufficient bandwidth/connection stalls: 2 (0.0%)

Your CPU simply cannot handle the encoder settings. I still stand by my first suggestion that you tune it back to a veryfast preset and try again.

In regards to your network connection - it's not perfect, but it's not too bad either. The bandwidth seems fine, but if the quality is too low it's simply not stable enough for a solid stream. You want to see numbers at 80+. You will probably benefit in stability by going with a wired connection.

Try making some changes and report back if you want more help :)

Thanks sir. Is that the only thing I can do to help the encoder?
