So like the title says obs doesnt work at all anymore for me. Ive been streaming for about 2 months and it was working fine but starting last week it crashes and dc non stop. Just today it dc 17 times. I have done everything on my end to fix it, switch servers, reset my internet many times, make sure no firewall is blocking it,uninstall, etc. I cant seem to get any help on this subject so im here now trying to find out what i can do. I really need help or i guess im just done streaming

I'm not sure what you expect us to do about connection issues? You are not connecting to a server that OBS controls. You should probably talk to your ISP.

The route between your house and the platform you are trying to stream to is owned by isp's and private companies.
We do not know what their problems are and we do not have a list or something with know issues for isp's.
We can check if OBS is working correctly and advice you on how to trouwbleshoot your connection.
However that's it..... Thats all we can do and you are responsible to maintain your connection.

OBS only disconnects if you click stop streaming, press the stop streaming hotkey or if you have the output timer active.
In any other case it is always a connection issue.
If you don't want to take our word for it, then why are you asking for help?

im just getting annoyed that i feel like there is no help or anyone has any idea how to fix this. 1 i have done everything your link says, 2 my connection is not the issue at all, 3. it seems like every post ive seen on this subject people just get told its their internet and no one really helps them. 4. it worked no issue for 2 months and out of no where the thing dc and crash non stop. So putting everything together its an obs issue, not my connection or my pc

unless twitch is having a rough week or 2 it has to be obs. if twitch was having the issue anyone with obs would be hurt

Ya I have been having the same issue for 2 months now, It only happens when alt tabing out of any game obs just drops to 0. I never had this issue, but im slowly trying to find out if its a windows update that caused it for me, or it could be network driver that is not working correctly. But if I find something out i will post it back on the form. It would also freeze up if I was idle without doing anything to it, but I think this last update fixed that one. But I am leaning on a windows update on this one due to i never update it a lot, and this started happening after that.
