Question / Help OBS Keeps Crashing on Startup

OBS Studio has been giving me issues ever since I tried it out. Scenes from OBS Classic and OBS Studio arent compatible, so I have to spend 60-ish hours remaking all of my scenes, again. Then, when I tried adding a media source or image, the file explorer that pops up would have nothing on the left side which forced me to manually navigate to the folder I wanted to get to and when I get there all of the images are black or completely blank, so I can't see what I'm placing. And now, whenever I try to open OBS, it crashes before actually launching. People tell me that OBS Studio is better than OBS Classic, but from my experience, I care to disagree. The only reason I wanted to upgrade was to fix my game audio desync issue, which I have no idea why it's happening.

If you cannot start the OBS Studio - paste this string:

Code:
%appdata%\obs-studio\crashes

to explorer and attach the logs to the post here.

Two possible solutions:
  1. Try to run OBS Studio 64 bit (obs64.exe)
  2. Move gifs from your zScreens folder to any other folder (then test it one by one to find the image which crashes application and post this image, that any developer may test it too).
