Since updating it on march 2016, my OBS continues to crash on the new version upon turning on, rendering me unable to interact with it at all

All I have done is install and just opening it, the app stayed for a second and then crashed.

the log is here: http://pastebin.com/iuS9ZY9x

I'm currently just using the 2014 version of OBS otherwise, and keep getting streaming problem on picarto with my stream getting cut very often, that maybe for another time.

Yes I followed the instructions and uninstall and reinstall. OBS is its own and only item in my mac and the problem still happens. This includes all the new versions starting 2015 I have got so far doesn't open anymore.

Have you tried creating a new user on the machine and seeing if that user can run OBS without crashing?

It works on other accounts. But I can't have it run in my usual account, it may make it troublesome if I am to search my files back and forth. Still I don't exactly know what's causing this and I need to have that fixed

Despite able to run on a different account, my other applications including clip studio paint cannot run on a different account, and it would be troublesome being that a lot of programs don't function properly on another account and I have to reinstall or troubleshoot one by one, the effort would consume more time should this happen again on my new account as well

So, it sounds like it is something in your user/account settings / preferences.

Idea: Can you try to duplicate your account settings/preferences on another account, and see if this makes OBS break? If you can, then you've identified what's breaking OBS.

What Keybounce said.

I was asking about another account not to suggest you do that to solve the problem, but in order to isolate the problem to OBS or user preference files, rather than the application or your OS in general.

If another account on the machine can run the app, then the app is working. I'd throw out all of OBS' preferences and settings files and rebuild your scenes.
