I'm having the same issues as of yesterday.. don't even have to be streaming/recording and after a few minutes of OBS being open, my PC becomes sluggish and eventually restarts. Nothing has changed that I know of, never had any issues before at all.

Now I can't keep my PC from restarting/crashing every 15-20 minutes unless I don't open OBS up...

Dunno if I need to put my crash report here, kinda new to this, but just in case....

Same issue here. I wonder if a Windows security update is what is causing this.

I've did everything I can think of on Windows end... checked all driver updates, updated my BIOS even, everything...

PC runs fine until I open OBS, then after about 15 minutes or so, my PC either freezes or restarts... even does it in safe mode...

Yeah. Exact same problem here. At the moment I suspect something with Windows is scuffed.

I thought maybe something to do with elgato, so i disabled all my stream decks, still the same thing.

Now I'm running my computer with just elgato facecam software running to see if it replicates... been 45 minuets now, no issue, but as soon as I open obs back up, within 10 minutes, computer restarted on its own... so lost.

I've noticed though when using command to update all, it's trying to update obs to version 32.0.3, but fails, and when I lookup that version online, it's not out yet.... could that be anything?

If your entire PC is freezing/restarting you'll want to troubleshoot this with more generalized tech support and not through the OBS forums.

The crash report shows sl-browser-plugin.dll as the one causing the crash.
Completely remove this plugin. In their support section you'll find detailed information on how to do it.

If the issues continues, find a good PC technician to look into the problem.

Knock on wood, don't know if that was towards me or not, but went home on lunch break, got completely rid of anything streamlabs on my pc and obs and started a test with obs open and a YouTube video on loop.

Checking on it every 20 minutes remotely on my phone and so far so good... would normally crash after about 15-20 minutes, been running strong for about 2 hours almost now...

Kinda makes sense though cuz I thought I got rid of SLOBS plugin a while ago, but I didn't do it completely.

So thank you for the fix! I'm hoping it will continue running smooth for the next 2 hours when I get home from work, then I'll try a stream, I'll update if it messes up again...
