Hi everyone. This is my first time on the forum because basically this is the first time I've ever had a problem with OBS Studio that couldn't be easily resolved. Every time I try to even open OBS Studio it tells me "OBS has crashed". I'm attached the logs from the problem. Up till now, I've tried the following:
  • I first encountered this problem with OBS 22ish, I updated to the latest version, and the problem persists
  • I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program, and the problem persists
  • I've restarted Windows and...it sorta worked for a bit. I still couldn't do somethings in it like do Display Capture (although I was able to record from my webcam). That was yesterday. Now, the same error is appearing and I can't even open the program'
Please help. I REALLY depend on OBS Studio. I couldn't believe my luck when I found it and now suddenly all of the work that I do using screen recordings for lessons and teaching has come grinding to a halt.

Thanks in advance!

Looks AMD card related. Make sure your drivers are up to date, and you can also try temporarily removing the AMD encoder plugin.

You could reinstall the AMF plug-in from the OBS plug-ins page, to see if that might help anything. Other than that, reinstall AMD drivers as @Narcogen stated, since the new Adrenalin 2020 drivers fixes many issues that may or may not be related to your issue. Still, it's a good tip to follow.

EDIT: OBS ships with a deprecated version of the AMF plug-in. Upgrading may solve your problem.

I updated the AMD Drivers, I was surprised to find such an old version installed. Everything seems to be working now. It is also worth mentioning that the other issue about the Display Capture wasn't working, but this post helped out a lot: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/laptop-black-screen-when-capturing-read-here-first.5965/

Everything seems to be working smoothly, so thanks everyone!
