Question / Help OBS keeps crashing and then not launching

I'm trying to configure ChromaCam with OBS, and it keeps crashing. After it crashes once or twice, I can no longer open OBS. The only solution I've found is to uninstall OBS completely, reinstall, reinstall my plugins, and try again. This sucks.

Is there any way to get OBS to launch once it has decided not to? Whatever config file it loads must be getting corrupted. How I can I just erase that or revert it so that I don't have to keep uninstalling OBS and reinstalling?

Once I know how to do that I would like to figure out why ChromaCam doesn't work...

Thanks for any replies

I remember many posts here in the forum with Chromacam being a crash source of OBS. A solution was never posted. So I assume the only way to use OBS is to uninstall Chromacam.
What you consider "corrupted" OBS configuration is actually a source that references a Chromacam device. OBS tries to initialize this on startup, it crashes within Chromacam, and so OBS is never again able to start. Simply uninstalling Chromacam will rescue this configuration, since OBS isn't able to even access the chromacam device any more, leaving an inactive video capture device that can be safely removed.
