OBS keep resetting back to NTSC-M while recording VHS tapes

I'm using an EZcap capture device bought on Aliexpress. It works fine, but I'm struggling with OBS because old Brazilian video standard is PAL-M, and while it is available on OBS for selection, every time there's an artifact on the tape's image (typically when transitioning from a recording session to another) it reverts back to NTSC-M, the old American video standard. That means I have to babysit the recording of the tapes, which I can't always do, because from time to time I have to revert the video standard back to PAL-M.

Is there any way to lock the video standard choice on video capture devices, or changing the default one? I'd appreciate it.
