I just ran into the following isssue today:
I just installed OBS on this PC and the settings were bad / standard so I changed some of the video settings (bitrate from 2,5k standard to 60k, preset to high qual low latency, folder the videos go into and upscaled the video quality from 1080p to 2k.
And now suddenly whenever I start recording and want to stop it just says "stopping recording"until I kill the programm with task manager.
I did these changes because somehow whenever I watched the recorded videos, the color was a bit less saturated and the video quality itself looked more like 480p than 1080.
