Question / Help Obs is still streaming but twitch just quit streaming

twitch will still say live but won't load anything and if it does it will just be a still image with sound. Recently it will just stream for about 5 mins then stops but I've is still streaming. I have great internet, i5 4950 and a r9 390. Not the smartest with this stuff

Twitch has been having problems of late, last day or 2. site went down a number of times, they were screaming at their own support site about it. the symptoms your having is probably why. stop me if i am wrong.

Okay thanks hopefully that's it also I have a question about using the x264 or the amd h264 thing because I have a r9390?

if you use x264 your CPU usage will crank up, so if your gfx card (r9390?) has built-in encoding, like an nvidia card does, sounds like it uses its own version of h264, use that, at a decent bitrate you feel is necessary, but not above the recommended twitch bitrate.
