I've noticed recently that if I have OBS studio open, but not in use (not streaming or recording) then all my sound output is weird, jittery and sounds like something is interfering with it.
EG, I'm watching something on YouTube and the sound is awful. It also seems to have gotten worse over the last couple of days.
Last week, I had a terrible time editing audio on some recordings I made. I applied my normal audio preset which does about 90% of the work for me. But it still sounded weird. I edited the best I could and put a couple of videos out there... only to find that on playback it was off!
I think what had happened here was I had OBS open after using it. Then I edited in Adobe Premiere with OBS affecting the audio playback I was listening to. So I edited to sound "OK" only to find that with OBS closed, it sounded terrible due to the editing. On replay of the original recordings with OBS closed and my default audio preset applied, it sounds fine.
Anyone else noticing something similar?
