I decided to try OBS with Debian Buster (OS I Am Curretly Using) since it worked with Ubuntu when I was on Ubuntu, I followed the linux building instructions posted on the OBS website and I got OBS installed, I do get the option of using FFMPEG VAAPI as an encoder since I was interested in trying out hardware decoding. After setting up everything I press record to start recording but when I click on "Start Recording", OBS instantly closes with no error message, when I try reocrding usign X264 as my encoder, I can record fine with no issues. I have attempted to look on other OBS support threads and tried using Google and I have not found a solution. Here is a log file attached with this thread as well as some PC Information.
