Question / Help OBS installer will not install and goes unresponsive

I'm having an issue installing OBS on my laptop. I installed it once before, and completely removed every file, then tried to reinstall. When I do, I am prompted to open the installer as usual, but whenever I click "Next", the installer stops working. I've tried restarting my system, and making sure OBS was completely uninstalled before reinstalling.

Is there any way to fix this? Any help would be really appreciated.

What Windows version? This typically occurs on Vista, where it takes an inordinate amount of time to check the required service packs are installed for some reason.

It's on Windows 10. I guess I should mention there was an update recently and it was doing some odd things on the same day.
