I think I may need to upgrade OpenGL, my version is:

jurek@jurek-ThinkCentre-M92p ~ $ glxinfo | grep "OpenGL"

OpenGL vendor string: Intel Open Source Technology Center
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI Intel(R) Ivybridge Desktop
OpenGL core profile version string: 3.3 (Core Profile) Mesa 17.0.7
OpenGL core profile shading language version string: 3.30
OpenGL core profile context flags: (none)
OpenGL core profile profile mask: core profile
OpenGL core profile extensions:
OpenGL version string: 3.0 Mesa 17.0.7
OpenGL shading language version string: 1.30
OpenGL context flags: (none)
OpenGL extensions:
OpenGL ES profile version string: OpenGL ES 3.0 Mesa 17.0.7
OpenGL ES profile shading language version string: OpenGL ES GLSL ES 3.00
OpenGL ES profile extensions:

Do I need to do this upgrade, if so where can I download it?

When I run OBS now, It doesn't maximize the image properly. I am using it with my BlackMagic Decklink mini recorder.

And I am running Linux Mint 18.2 Cinnamon 64-bit

Please help,
Lucas

OBS requires at least OpenGL 3.2+ hardware support. Looks like your GPU only supports 3.0.

Can I upgrade the OpenGL. How do you know that my hardware only supports 3.0.

Here is something interesting, if i enable a 'Windowed Projector' then everything runs perfectly. No issue with re-sizing. I can run the windowed projector in the background and the main window of the application works properly.

Ah sorry, my mistake you have OpenGL 3.3, always get the right line to look at mixed up...

Can you explain or screenshot what you mean by "doesn't resize properly"?

Attached is a screen grab. I open OBS and it automatically opens a stream from my BlackMagic Decklink mini recorder. Next I press the '+' to maximize and it does not maximize the window properly. You can now see two images instead of one large one. Please take a look. The windows version does not have this issue.

Also wanted to add: If I open 'Windowed Projector' and run it in the background, then there is no problem with the main window. It works perfectly no matter how i resize it.

I am attaching another example of this error. I open OBS then instead of clicking on +, I drag the window to a larger size. Again this does not happen when i open 'Windowed Projector' first.

Hi, I removed your files because they are in the .pdf format, which is just beyond ridiculous for trying to share simple images. PDF files are, at best, risky.

Can you please re-upload as normal images?

Here are the files that illustrate the problem. Things are not refreshing after they are resized. Prob1 is when I pressed the +, and Prob2 is when I resized by dragging the window. Hope this helps.

Gotcha, yes I have seen this before, but I don't recall the solution offhand. I vaguely recall it being a setting in the window compositor. Let me dig around and see what I can find.

Hello, Are you saying that this is not a bug, but rather a setting. I have played around with the windowing system in Linux Mint, and I cannot find the fix.

Please let me know if you find a setting or fix this bug.

Thank you
