OBS Studio is a composite tool (that is, combine multiple sources audio and video)
OBS Studio does NOT manage live stream setups. Latest releases of OBS Studio can assist, sometimes.. depending on content delivery network (CDN) of choice (YouTube, FaceBook, Twitch, etc)
My recommendation to make sure you better understand your CDN is to follow their documentation/instructions for setting up a stream. At some point, you'll be provided a stream key (I avoid persistent keys for security reasons, most people are too lazy to do the same... ymmv) and you enter that along with Stream (CDN) provider info into OBS in Stream Settings... in my case, I select the Stream (CDN) provider from the pull down list, and copy 'n paste my stream key. And then I'm good to go
