Bug Report OBS High Memory Usage

Hello, I've seen some posts from last year on this topic but I haven't seen any real troubleshooting fixes. I'll add pictures below as well since those threads didn't seem to include any.

Currently running a music stream so all that's running through OBS is:

Spotify Audio
Snip.exe text
Image x 2
Image Slideshow / directory
Streamlabs View Counter
Streamlabs Chat Overlay

I'm new to streaming but I believe it's streaming at 1080, 60fps. Possibly outputting at 720, 60fps.

The images I've included are Task manager, PC specs, and OBS.

Thank you!

Try removing the slideshow.
You nailed it. I was considering that but wanted to see what people on here said before touching anything. So now I have to figure out why that's causing a problem?

I've been streaming for about a month with this same set-up and it's been perfectly fine until now. There are a lot of images in the directory the slideshow is pulling from but what changed?

Thank you for the suggestion by the way.

The slideshow source loads all the pictures in the slideshow into ram.
Gotchya. So the solution is to reduce the size of the directory or overhaul the RAM basically? Not sure if this has been ramping up or maybe I just didn't notice when I first started streaming.

Generally we currently recommend using browser based slideshows in the case of larger ones.

Oh. What would a browser based slideshow require in terms of a service and integration into OBS?

Do you know if this affects the quality? The slideshow consists of .gifs.
