Question / Help OBS High GPU Usage?

Recording lately has become quite difficult on OBS Studio. On certain games (MW: Remastered & GTA V) I get a TON of lag issues when attempting to record the game with OBS.

But basically, what I assume the issue is; is that OBS is using 50-60% of my gpu just by sitting their idle. Not recording. Not streaming. Nothing.

Any ideas on how I can fix this? Its really bugging me and effecting my love for producing videos.

That log doesn't contain a recording session.

@Osiris Well thats part of the problem. When OBS is just sitting there (not recording) Its using 50% of my gpu. Here is a recording log as well.

I receive insanely high GPU Usage as well, some say it is because of Windows 10 and I am realllllly hoping that is not the case. It is also local recording fps that is the issue, the actual ingame fps is a stable fps. Not sure if this is the same case for you Ryan.

It is Repun. I found a solution on my end. The new NVIDIA driver messes it up. You gotta roll back the driver. That fixed it for me

372.90 works great for me, 375.70, is straight garbage.
