Hi everyone,
I’m hoping someone here can help me out. I've been having a strange issue with OBS for about a month now.
Previously, my OBS CPU usage was always very low — around 0.1–0.3%, even while streaming or recording. But now it's constantly sitting at 5–8%, sometimes even higher, without me changing any settings.
At the same time, I’ve started getting severe FPS drops in Valorant. I used to have stable, high FPS with no issues, but now the frame rate is all over the place, and the game becomes almost unplayable at times.

- Reinstalled OBS
- Updated GPU and chipset drivers
- Checked background processes
- Simplified OBS scenes
- Lowered all settings in Valorant (didn’t help much)
