OBS has broken Macbook Camera

Hi, I have tried following other instructions posted in the forums here but to no avail. I installed OBS for the first time today. I was playing around with it to try to add some production value to a zoom call. However, now OBS Virtual has taken over my camera and I cannot access it from any other apps e.g. Facetime, Zoom. On Zoom, the only video option is OBS Virtual Cam and my picture is just the OBS logo. On Facetime, it says "No Camera Available".

I tried uninstalling the app and deleting the files in application support but nothing is working. Can anyone help? Many thanks!

Edit: I even created a new user profile for my mac but somehow it is still stopping my camera on the other profile.

Similar issue. A third party application I'm using ONLY presents the OBS no-camera thumbnail instead of my camera feed, ever since installing OBS. OBS seemingly hijacked the application's default camera setting, and is keeping it even after uninstalling OBS.

Having the same issue on a Windows Desktop. It happens randomly. Most of the time Zoom runs fine using the usb external camera plugged in and installed. Then randomly the OBS virtual camera is the only option in Zoom. The only fix I have found is to restart my pc. Then the plugged in camera works until OBS decides to hijack Zoom again.
