OBS glitches and shows white steak at bottom of screen when streaming. I had a similar problem before when streaming with a Reolink camera. I was told I needed to need to add FFmpeg options to the media source for the camera and possibly turn the bitrate the camera to 5000-6000kbps in the app. RTSP feed can be finnicky on OBS. The FFmpeg options should be : rtsp_transport=tcp rtsp_flags=prefer_tcp. I changed the FFmpeg option in Reolink in the Reolink camera and the glitching stopped.
But now I am having the same problem with the Green Backyard beatbox camera. I reached out to the company to see where to add the FFmpeg and they said the RTSP doesn't look like the command from our camera. Are you sure this is our camera? There is no FFmpeg from the camera. FFmpeg is the 3rd party plugin. The camera outputs the RTSP video directly and it doesn't need FFmpeg.
Does anyone have this camera and have the same issue or have a idea how to stop the glitch?
I'm running
- dedicated laptop
- obs 30.2.2
- windows 11
- Intel Core i5 (the cpu is only running 3.0% and 0.0% dropped frames)
- long range wi-fi connection
- No critical issues

Thank you in advance
