Question / Help OBS game capture gets 10/15fps at most while playing games

I usually get 120+ fps while playing games, yet OBS seems to only get 10 or 15fps. It used to work great until I had to reset my hard drive since I got an SSD to be my boot drive. Not sure why this is happening... because when I'm in the loading screen it's 60fps consistently but once I actually get in the game my frames drop on OBS really hard.

This is a mix of Game Mode (see signature) and needing to cap your FPS
