Question / Help OBS Game Capture freezes with Elgato HD60 after 1 minute

I've googled like crazy to find a solution and can't seem to find one!

I am trying to capture PS4 gameplay onto to my PC Desktop using an Elgato HD60 and OBS. I thought I had a good setup the other day when I realized OBS was not capturing audio. I eventually found a solution to that but as soon as OBS starting capturing audio, it would freeze after 1 minute and I had to restart/unplug/resetup before it would work again.

Does anyone know why this would continue to happen? My computer specs and everything should be fine for the job and I'm not trying to stream. I will try and post Log Files and computer specs later. But I know off the top of my head now that I have 8gb of RAM and at least a 2.7Ghz processor. I'm also running Windows 10.

Thanks in advance

Here is the OBS logs. I've attached a few as it happened several times and i couldn't remember which times the elgato signal froze or obs just crashed.

On your other comment, I unfortunately don't think going directly to mp4 is my current problem as the signal from my hd60 freezes before i even hit record. But that is noted, what should i record to instead?

How are you checking that the audio isn't recording?
Have you verified that the "Configure Video" settings in the video capture source match up with what works in the elgato software?

On your other comment,
You mean my signature. Save to MKV or FLV.

I can double check the configure video section and double check. But as far checking audio. Basically there were no levels coming in on OBS and then additionally I wasn't hearing anything. I then switched the audio setup from 'default' to 'desktop audio (Wave)' and it started coming through the desktop audio. Again, before i did this though, the visual signal from the elgato was fine. I was recording and kept it running for almost an hour before I realized there was no audio. Freezing occurred after receiving an audio signal.

Apologies as I check and update this forum when i'm at work and don't have access to my home desktop.
