OBS Game Capture Black Screen

Hello there, I've been trying for 4 hours to find a solution to my problem, but I can't. Game capture will not show my game in the preview or recordings, but display capture works perfectly. I've tried all of the solutions I've seen on the internet, such as switching the GPU from Intel to NVIDIA, and running it as administrator, running it in Windows 7, using a previous version of OBS, switching the GPU in Graphics Settings, and absolutely nothing works. I'm primarily going to be recording, and going to be recording Minecraft mainly, and a few other games. Someone please help....

The only solution I have is to make sure your source is set to either game capture or display capture. You may have it on something else such as media capture which may not work for what you are trying to do. I hope this helps
