Hi Everyone -

Hoping someone can help. I stream my PS5 games via OBS. Until a month or so ago, the game audio was fine. However my viewers have recently informed me that the game audio has become muffled / mono sounding. Through my headphones, it sounds fine. However when I view the VODs, the sound is definitely degraded. I have also done a recording via OBS to my computer and that video is coming out muffled as well. I have also done a local recording through the Elgato Capture software, and that sounds fine. So the issue is definitely with OBS. I have confirmed that mic, headphones, OBS, etc. are all running at the same sample rate.

Here is my log file:

Any suggestions / help would be appreciated!

Thanks-

1. You are running an old version of OBS Studio (31.0.3). Please update to the newest version by going to Help -> Check for updates in OBS or by downloading the latest installer from the downloads page and running it.
2. Run updated OBS as Admin.
3. Browser hardware acceleration is currently disabled. Enabling acceleration is highly recommended due to the improvements to performance and significantly lower CPU usage for browser sources. This can be enabled in Settings -> Advanced.

If still having issues, be aware that your log contains no streaming session. Results of this log analysis are limited. Please post a link to a clean log file. To make a clean log file, please follow these steps:

1) Restart updated OBS as Admin.
2) Start your stream for at least 30 seconds. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.
3) Stop your stream.
4) Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. Send that link here.
