Question / Help OBS freezing?

Alright so I have used OBS for a month never issues. I am now playing wow and streaming to twitch and for the past few days way too often my stream stays on buffering screen. I check OBS and no dropped frames or anything but the bandwidth drops to 0 and stays there. I go to stop stream and it stays saying "stopping stream" also the screen on obs showing what you are streaming is froze in place. My internet looks completely fine and once I close and reopen everything works good and then it will randomly do it again sometimes very shortly sometimes not for an hour or so. Somebody please save me! Its always those same errors in log or w.e.

Me too... i deinstalled the latest windows + adobe update and it works!!!!

When you say you "deinstalled the latest windows", do you mean the latest patch update KB3176938, or do you mean the Anniversary Update 1607? Are you streaming with a webcam or video capture device? Have you tried a scene or scene collection with no webcam or video capture device?

KB3176938 is supposed to be targeted at fixing the webcam and video capture device issues that were introduced in the Windows 10 Anniversary Update 1607 (breaking the majority of webcams, no really).

If you're having issues with KB3176938, you might want to report those issues to Microsoft.

I am having the same problem. But my whole computer crashes. Ill stream off of my Ps4 with my Elgato HD60 and it will be working completely fine when im streaming for about 30 mins to an hour then bam! It freezes my whole computer and then i have to hold the button to power it all the way down. I just got OBS Studio a couple days ago and it does it everytime. It never did it with OBS Classic. But i much prefer OBS Studio because it is easier to work with. Has this happened to anyone else?? Please Help!
