Question / Help OBS freezing when I hit "Go Live" on Facebook

Hello all.

I am trying to use OBS to live stream from my DSLR style camera to Facebook via my windows laptop. OBS detects the camera and it's audio ok at first, yet once I am streaming to Facebook via the steam key, it keeps freezing the image, sometimes when just in preview on Facebook after a short while - and the 2x I thought it was ok and I hit "Go Live", it froze straight away. It is freezing in OBS itself, not just on Facebook.

I am using a Panasonic GH5s, linked through a Startech HDMI - USB converter box taking in both video and audio. My laptop is a fast laptop, custom built for video editing with i7 5700K processor, 32GB RAM, Nvidea GTX97M 6GB RAM graphics. I am keeping the streaming bitrate down to 2000kbps. I am streaming via 4G on my phone, but would this cause the OBS to freeze the image coming in from the camera? The only way that I am able to get the live camera view back, is to either disconnect the camera, or to remove it from OBS and re-add it.

Log file is here https://hastebin.com/gocekatipu from my last session which I presume is the session where I last had this issue.

Any advice on where I should be looking to sort this problem would be most appreciated.

Thanks

James

Try going live from the Facebook Live connect tab, using the camera tab will freeze it up
