I recently took delivery on a second 60fps webcam that is the same model as another webcam I am already using with OBS. When plugged into the same powered USB splitter hub, OBS cannot load both webcams. They must be plugged into separate USB ports, and even then OBS gets them confused every time I restart the program.
But the real issue is that OBS has now begun to randomly freeze all video feeds randomly. The program does not crash - just the video freezes and the recording stops - I can still close it normally. I never once got this issue when I did not use two of the same webcam in all the years I have been using OBS.
Not sure it matters, but the webcam make and model is "NexiGo N660P". No issues when using only one of the cameras, but I am now incurring different timing offsets even for my game feed, which has never happened before, as well as the freezing issue I mentioned above. Any ideas of ways to mitigate this issue or do I just need to go back to using a second 30fps cam with different make and model? Thanks.
