OBS freezing every time I open a game

So about a month ago I never had any issues with OBS and running a game at the same time. Recently i'll open OBS and run as admin and then open a game (and I am using game capture), but when I go back and click on OBS everything is frozen. It won't allow me to go from scene to scene. I've tried uninstalling, and reinstalling, checking for updates, and updating my graphics card.
