Hello everyone!
So I've been trying to record some videos on minecraft as I build in game, but every time I go to OBS to start the recording, I realize that the software had frozen as I was setting up. It'll happen if I change the size of the game window, do anything in the game, and the issue will seemingly go away if I tab out of the game into another window. Yet almost randomly when I go back into the game, it'll freeze again. OBS does this in and out of safe mode, and anything I search up hasn't had anything similar to what I'm experiencing.
When I say OBS freezes, I mean that the video portion will get stuck on the same frame. it will stay on that frame even if I change the scene or even close Minecraft entirely. Audio seems to still be working as it still picks up on game audio and my mic.
I have also noticed that when I am not tabbed into the game, the game capture screen will sometimes go black while the game is still playing in the background. OBS will also unfreeze and even freeze again as I am tabbed out.
My graphic's drive is NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, both OBS and Minecraft (java) are on the most recent updates.
