Hello,
So I've been getting quite annoyed with OBS in the past few days. I have been using OBS for a few months and I have ran into very little problems, until now. First of all, when I am streaming to Twitch with Obs using my elgato, my stream will run perfectly until the the stream just freezes without any warning or notice. There is no lag or frame drops before this happens, it just stops and leaves the viewers with a frozen picture on the screen. My mic continues to work and the stream can hear me, but the video just stops. This happens every single time I stream, but it only started about a week ago. Before that, I never encountered this problem. Like I said, I can stream for any amount of time before this happens. Sometimes, my stream will run flawlessly for a few hours before the video freezes, and sometimes it will freeze within a few minutes. I have tried almost everything in my power to fix this. I have tried lowering the bitrate of the stream, I have tried lowering the fps of the stream from 60 to 30, I have tried streaming using the NVENC encoder instead of the x264 encoder, I have tried lowering the cpu usage, just to see if this problem was occurring because my processor couldn't handle the stream (which it should have no probelm, seeing as I have a AMD Ryzen six-core processor), all to no avail. I have tried reinstalling OBS on my computer. I have even tried a few older versions of OBS, to see if there was a new update that has been causing these problems, but this didn't work either. I doubt that this problem is caused by my CPU overheating and throttling, because my processor can handle streaming and never overheats. The only way for me to fix this problem temporarily is to exit OBS and restart it, but that only lets me stream again until the same problem occurs in my new stream. Please get back to me as soon as possible to explain why this problem has just now started occurring for me.
Thanks in advance.
